Sleeping is the Enemy

Man, been going on a few years now where I'll have a good sleep one night, then the next night, terrible. Constant cycle every other day. It's amazing how much better I feel and how much more productive I am when I get a good night's sleep. I don't even need a ton of sleep, just as long as it's straight through, uninterrupted for about 6-6.5 hours, I'm good to go.

But what usually happens is I wake up around 2:30-3:30 am, I'm up for 2-3 hours before finally falling back to sleep. This screws up my whole morning because I like getting up early. For example, yesterday I felt great. Tuesday night I went to bed around 10:30pm, woke up around 5am, and I was up, exercised, felt great all day. Pretty rare for me to wake up feeling that good and it to last all day.

Then last night, went to bed again around 10:30pm, but I woke up around 2:30 am. By the time it was past 5am, I either had to get up to start my day, or let myself fall back asleep. Apparently I fell asleep and then slept until about 7:30am and still woke up feeling like I hadn't slept at all. It's terrible. I've tried everything, read all the tips and tricks, tried them all, but can't get consistently good sleep. Not giving up though, will get there some day.
