I’m working 100% remotely from Washington, D.C. for a global algorithmic trading firm.
Outside of my job, a couple years back, I started learning all about commercial real estate. As part of that, I've just finished flying around the country interviewing top professionals in the CRE space and turning those interviews into a book which I'll be publishing around Q3 of 2024.
In warm weather, I'm using the Chesapeake Bay to sail my boat and prep for sailing across oceans someday. Although, I'm considering now selling her and sizing down. She's meant for crossing oceans and I won't be able to do that for at least another 10 years.
Been messing around with website platforms (Squarespace, Ghost, Wordpress) before finally finding this little beauty right here: Bear Blog. I feel like it just makes sense to have a personal website.
I'm in the process of selling my condo and moved into a great place in a great neighborhood with my awesome, beautiful girlfriend.
My daughter is now 7 years old and I see her as often as I can and plan on doing all sorts of fun stuff with her this summer: sailing, camping, amusement parks, and a lot of swimming. She's doing great.
I still have my English Bulldog, Duke. Little guy is 9.5 years old now and is still as spritely as a pup. He's such a good boy.
Will be checking out Southport, NC later this summer, so looking forward to that. And looking forward to a trip to Budapest, Prague, Salzburg, and Vienna in the fall.
I am a staunch supporter of Israel and seeing the rise in antisemitism and the misguided support of terrorists over the past several months has affected me pretty hard.
Been getting over a bit of a leg injury earlier this year and used that as an excuse to totally let go of my health regiment. So, something I need to work on and get back at it.
